Retailer Target is facing a class-action lawsuit for allegedly violating Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act through the store's surveillance systems, NBC Chicago reports. The lawsuit claimed the company does not ask for consumers' consent to collect biometric data with its antitheft facial recognition systems.
