To receive either of two COVID-19 vaccinations rolled out in India, citizens must link their mobile phone numbers with the Aadhaar identification system, India Today reports. The Aadhaar card is used to identify those receiving vaccinations, and a digital platform has been created with an application to keep a digital record of who is vaccinated, when and with which vaccine, also ensuring those who receive the first dose get the second.
