A class-action lawsuit filed under the California Consumer Privacy Act claims online design marketplace Minted failed to implement reasonable security measures to protect personal information, Reuters reports. The suit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California by plaintiffs whose personal information was compromised in a breach the company revealed last month. Meanwhile, accounting firm BST and Co. CPAs is facing a class-action lawsuit over a ransomware attack affecting data of 170,000 Community Care Physicians patients.
