A class-action complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida accuses cloud service provider Blackbaud of failing to stop a ransomware attack and data breach affecting several schools, health care facilities, nonprofits and other organizations. Filed by two plaintiffs whose data was held by companies using Blackbaud, the complaint said identifying, sensitive and personal data was compromised. Meanwhile, Warner Music Group is facing a class-action lawsuit related to a data breach of its e-commerce websites.
