BDO National Cybersecurity Leader Leon Fouche is questioning the results of a study he co-authored on cybersecurity in Australia and New Zealand, Computer Weekly reports. The 2018/2019 Cyber Security Survey Results showed that respondents were not as victimized by or concerned with certain cyberattacks in 2018 compared to the year prior. While some statistics are positive, Fouche points out that the percentage of respondents that didn't know if they suffered a cyberattack rose from 6% in 2017 to 13% last year. “From the statistics, it seems that organisations are experiencing less cyber incidents. But from my work it is quite the opposite,” Fouche said.
