- Apple unveiled a new slate of privacy features to debut with iOS 15 this fall, The New York Times reports. The upcoming operating system will include a "privacy report" that informs users about which applications collect their personal data.
- Apple’s “private relay” feature, one of the new privacy protections announced for iOS 15, will not be available in China for regulatory reasons, Reuters reports. Apple said the feature will also not be offered in Belarus, Colombia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkmenistan, Uganda and the Philippines.
