For three years now, the IAPP has teamed with AvePoint to distribute APIA, a free tool for automating privacy impact assessments. Today at PSR, AvePoint unveils the latest version, which integrates “an advanced GDPR Detailed Assessment” template the company developed with assistance from the Microsoft privacy team. The new GDPR assessment is designed to help organizations and their service providers track their progress toward GDPR compliance over time and recommend ways to close identified gaps. IAPP members can get a look at the improvements to APIA at the AvePoint booth in the exhibit hall or at the Tech Vendor Showcase at 11:45 a.m.
