Brazil's data protection authority, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, is seeking public comment on a proposed regulation defining the role of a data protection officer. The regulation will reflect requirements under Article 41 of the General Personal Data Protection Law. The comment period is open until 7 Dec. A public hearing will also be announced in the future.
