A lawsuit claiming Amazon violated New York and Minnesota video privacy laws has been dismissed, MediaPost reports. The complaint stated Amazon Prime stored information on viewers against laws that require video rental companies to delete user data within one year of collection. A federal judge found insufficient evidence of harm or unlawful data sharing.
