A public consultation opened by the U.K. Information Commissioner's Office seeking comment on its draft guidance on anonymization, pseudonymization and privacy-enhancing technologies closes Nov. 28. A draft second chapter explores "identifiability," including data sharing scenarios and guidance on managing re-identification risk. Additional draft chapters will be released on pseudonymization techniques and best practices, the role of privacy-enhancing technologies in safe data sharing, and case studies with best practices of data sharing measures.
