The Washington Post reports that mobile application developers and privacy advocates are collaborating to create better ways to communicate privacy policy information to users as part of a National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) initiative. The group will present its proposal on Friday at an NTIA meeting in Washington, DC. Meanwhile, a PrivacyChoice study has found that 20 percent of websites may sell consumers’ information and 60 percent make no commitment to deleting it.
