We are looking for a Privacy Program Manager to help us ensure the highest standard of privacy for our organization and for our users across the globe. In this role you will:

  • Lead Tinder’s global privacy related initiatives, as part of our Security team
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable privacy laws and regulations
  • Advocate for organizational alignment with industry best privacy practices
  • Coordinate with the Legal department to evaluate impacts of, and plan strategy for, compliance with current and emerging privacy requirements
  • Work with Engineering and Product teams to communicate, ensure understanding of, and compliance with, all applicable privacy laws and regulations as new products and features are developed
  • Develop, maintain and communicate internal privacy policies and procedures
  • Assist in developing internal training on privacy best practices and legal requirements
  • Serve as the privacy subject matter expert for the organization

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in a similar privacy-focused role
  • Familiarity with current and emerging privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CIPP and/or CIPT certifications are big plusses
  • Legal experience and/or education is a big plus
  • Experience in a technology company environment is preferred

  • Design and implement SDLC practices including code reviews, static/dynamic code analysis and vulnerability assessments
  • Constantly maintain awareness of all known vulnerabilities in application technologies used within Tinder
  • Research any reported or suspected application vulnerabilities
  • Provide ongoing training on secure development practices to our Engineering teams
  • Assist in developing security related libraries used in our environment
  • Developing Secure Coding Guideline documentation and procedures
