Privacy Compliance Manager, Deluxe Corporation, Twin Cities, MN (Shoreview)

Accountabilities:
- Defining and implementing global privacy program, including privacy governance structures, processes and tools with cross functional teams.
- Consults and advises lines of business on requirements, guidelines and contract expectations to address compliance with privacy obligations. Provides direction and action steps, to define, manage and maintain appropriate privacy policies and online agreements based on sales and marketing business models and contractual obligations.
- Manages compliance requirements for compliance programs for data privacy, information governance, and online privacy.
- Accountable to integrate industry best practices and standards into compliance program functions.
- Leads & supports enterprise privacy projects, privacy impact assessments, including developing management reporting on privacy risks. Facilitates integration of privacy, risk, and compliance requirements into business planning processes including marketing new product development and acquisition integration. 
- Facilitate discussion and coordination among Product Managers and privacy stakeholders across the company
- Drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges and manage escalations to senior leadership when necessary.
- Provides consultation on the management and maintenance of Privacy Program Office rules of engagement, and processes to address preference management compliance.
- Develops, maintains and leverages deep subject matter expertise in topic areas of digital marketing, data privacy, risk, and regulatory compliance. Communicates privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented.

Required Qualifications :

- Masters degree - Business
- 5-7 years of experience - Compliance, privacy or other relevant regulatory experience.

- Knowledge:
        - Strong Knowledge of data privacy and direct experience with privacy program management.
        - Prefer experience with privacy and compliance program management functions within highly regulated markets or services.
        - Strong knowledge of big data and digital marketing privacy compliance including search engine marketing, social media privacy, digital advertising including audience monetization.
        - Knowledge of international privacy regulations strongly preferred. 
        - Experience in conducting risk assessments and mapping data flows to identify privacy risks. Experience with an organization's privacy and security due diligence efforts when entering into third party relationships or M & A activities preferred.
        - CIPP certified or the ability to qualify for CIPP certification within six months of starting the position.

         - Excellent written and verbal communication ability and demonstrated ability to lead efforts to promote collaboration across groups.
