The Committee on Consumer Policy (COPOLCO) has submitted to ISO this proposal for a new ISO standard on Consumer protection: Privacy by design for consumer goods and services. The proposal aims to specify the design process to provide consumer goods and services that meet consumers’ domestic processing privacy needs as well as the personal privacy requirements of Data Protection.
