Personal Data: An overview of low- and middle-income countries

This white paper from the World Wide Web Foundation looks at how new technologies are shaping society specifically with regards to the control of personal data. It seeks to answer some key questions, including "are the current levels of protection in low- and middle-income countries sufficient"? As well as, is "privacy self-management" possible given the current data protection regimes?
