Co-rapporteurs for the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection released the first compromise amendments for the EU’s proposed Artificial Intelligence Act, Euractiv reports. The committees received more than 3,000 amendments and the compromises proposed represent co-rapporteurs’ views, including removing provisions on conformity assessment procedure exemptions and amendments regarding administrative process.
