The Netherlands' data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens' Directorate of Algorithm Coordination released its first Algorithm Risk Report. The report detailed how "both (the) government and business sectors need to take substantial strides" to "gain better control over algorithms and artificial intelligence." The report also found that due to the impending EU AI Act, public and private entities will soon need to begin "comprehending their usage of high-risk algorithms," and called on the government and industry to start that preparation.
