Following weeks of negotiations, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg agreed to meet with European Parliament leaders in a private session on the Cambridge Analytica revelations, EURACTIV reports. Zuckerberg will meet with European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, Civil Liberties Committee Chair Claude Moraes, and German Green MEP Jan Philipp Albrecht next week. Meanwhile, The Guardian reports Facebook is allowing advertisers to send targeted content based on users’ believed preferences on gender, religion and political beliefs, while a reporter for The New York Times compared the data both Google and Facebook had on him.
