CBS News reports on claims of wrongful arrests stemming from the use of facial recognition technology. The report shared the stories of two men who had charges dismissed after they were wrongfully identified by facial recognition and said three Black men have now sued for wrongful arrest involving the tech. Police in one of those cities, Detroit, Michigan, have now implemented policies limiting use of the tech and requiring police disclosures, while 19 cities have banned facial recognition use entirely.
