In a blogpost for the company, Wickr CEO Joel Wallenstrom announced a new feature of Wickr Pro that provides end-to-end encrypted screen sharing. With communications among "the top targets for attackers looking to gain unauthorized access to businesses and government systems,” the tool is aimed at providing a secure sharing solution for organizations that utilize digital collaboration in the workplace, such as video conferencing or screen sharing. Wallenstrom writes, "Wickr’s screen sharing represents a new wave of crypto development that enables the same level of security for multi-party collaboration as is available for messaging and file transfers." The feature also encrypts audio and screen sharing streams with separate keys.
