An article for AdExchanger looks at David Carroll’s legal case with Cambridge Analytica to reclaim his personal information and his recent legal victory stemming from the company’s failure to fulfill his subject access request. Separate from Cambridge Analytica’s recent fine, a hearing is scheduled for March when Carroll will continue his case against the company for the full disclosure of his data. “Dealing with these requests will be something companies have to get a handle on,” Carroll said. “But, really, it’s also an opportunity for them to decide whether the data they have is an asset or whether it’s actually a liability.”
