WhatsApp announced it will delay the rollout of its new privacy notice following public backlash, The Wall Street Journal reports. A WhatsApp spokesman acknowledged the confusion about the changes, noting there has "been a lot of misinformation causing concern, and we want to help everyone understand our principles and the facts." In the wake of user privacy concerns, WhatsApp plans to remind users of existing data sharing with Facebook, its commitment to end-to-end encryption, and continued privacy related to messages and contacts.
