A Wellington dental practice experienced a data breach, RNZ reports. Symes de Silva warned patients about the breach, which occurred when its email server was hacked in April. Personal information, such as names, dates of birth and phone numbers were exposed in the breach; however, a forensic analysis found no signs any information was stolen. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand has been notified of the incident.
