Billions of records belonging to data management platform BlueKai were leaked online by an unsecured server, TechCrunch reports. The database, located by security researcher Anurag Sen, included names, home addresses, emails and other identifiable data. It also included users’ web-browsing activity. Oracle, which purchased BlueKai in 2014, said two unnamed companies “did not properly configure their services,” adding it has taken measures to “avoid a reoccurrence.”
