The Office of the Privacy Commissioner has released its 2014 Annual Report to Parliament, stressing the importance of recognizing that privacy knows “no boundaries in an increasingly globalized world, and international cooperation is quickly becoming the new normal” to tackle privacy concerns. At the recently completed IAPP Privacy Symposium in Toronto, Privacy Commissioner of Canada Daniel Therrien provided an opening keynote address that outlined his goals for the office in 2015.
