The report, which will be published in March, will reflect a need for tougher regulation. Vestager’s term ends in October, and while she has expressed hope for a second term, the article notes it is unlikely given the fact that EU’s executive commissioners are nominated by their country’s governments and her party is out of power in Denmark.
