The team at PactSafe took a look at the EU General Data Protection Regulation 18 months ago and realized its platform to collect electronic signatures and track the acceptance of online contracts lined up nicely with the consent requirements under the rules. It is what led to the creation of PactSafe's Consent Management platform, a tool designed to monitor users consenting to an organization's privacy policy, giving companies the ability to examine analytics on who is accepting the policy and the ability to make changes to the document within the platform. In this report for Privacy Tech, PactSafe Legal Solutions Consultant Kyle Robbins spoke with IAPP Associate Editor Ryan Chiavetta, CIPP/US, on how the company's experience helped shape the platform while offering a demo into its inner workings.
