U.S. senators are debating the future of the proposed Kids Online Safety Act, with some senators looking to add provisions that would support their own children's privacy legislation, The Verge reports. Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, is hoping to pass his online safety bill, the Protecting Kids on Social Media Act. "I imagine there's only going to be one moment for all of the tech bills," Schatz said.
