Law360 reports U.S. Privacy Shield Director Alex Greenstein provided an update on talks to address EU-U.S. adequacy and replacement of the invalidated EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, saying discussions are "in the home stretch." Speaking at the State of the Net conference, Greenstein did not give a specific timeline for a deal but acknowledged EU and U.S. officials recognize companies are "operating in an environment of uncertainty right now" with regard to data transfers and both sides will "hopefully have good news soon."
