The U.S. House Judiciary Committee will open an investigation into the U.S. Department of Justice's efforts to obtain metadata on members of Congress and White House Counsel Donald McGahn II under President Donald Trump, NPR reports. Following the recent lifting of gag orders, it was revealed the Department of Justice subpoenaed Apple for the information.
