Security research firm Kromtech discovered an unsecured server containing the records of thousands of FedEx customers, Reuters reports. The server held more than 119,000 scanned documents belonging to customers from all over the world, including passports, driver’s licenses and other forms of identification. FedEx Spokesman Jim McCluskey said in a statement the server belonged to Bongo International, a company FedEx acquired in 2014, and that the server is now secure. McCluskey added there has been no evidence of any information having been used in an inappropriate manner.
