A judge ordered the U.K.’s domestic counterintelligence and security agency, MI5, not to delete its databanks of personal information before a trial over its handling of the data is resolved, the Guardian reports. Human rights groups Liberty and Privacy International have accused the service of illegally capturing, storing and using data acquired through surveillance as far back as 2010. MI5's Andrew O’Connor said a “remediation process” is already underway involving “the deletion of material that should not be there.”
