The U.K. Geospatial Commission published a report on its findings from a public consultation on location data ethics. Eighty-five stakeholders weighed in on the ethical use of location data, with the commission noting a goal of realizing "data is used in a way that mitigates concerns and retains public confidence." The report will be a reference point for the commission's guidance on location data use that is set to be drafted in 2022.
