UK Biometrics and Surveillance Camera Commissioner releases annual report

The U.K. Biometrics and Surveillance Camera Commissioner's annual report was laid before U.K. Parliament. The report outlined the use of surveillance cameras by law enforcement, as well as the use of DNA samples. Law enforcement's National Security Determinations applications declined, with fewer police departments requesting "biometrics of unconvicted people who are believed to present a risk to national security."
