Pimloc, a U.K. artificial intelligence startup, announced it raised $7.5 million in seed funding, TechCrunch reports. The company anonymizes videos, automates the blurring of faces and license plates, and offers other services. The capital drive was led by Zetta Venture Partners. Pimloc officials said the funding will be used to grow the business in Europe and the U.S., track potential new data protection legislation, and monitor public opinions around the privacy risks of increased biometric use.
