Speaking for Alberta's United Conservatives, Jeff Henwood said that in order to protect the privacy of those who were interviewed, an internal investigation on voting irregularities will not be made public, The Canadian Press reports. The report covers an investigation into allegations of ballot-box stuffing and other irregularities that led to the resignation of a Calgary legislature member. While it includes interviews with nonpublic figures, the New Democratic Party government called for the report to be released, citing public interest.
