University College London European Institute Research Associate and Manager Oliver Patel and Institute of Health Informatics Senior Research Associate Nathan Lea published a policy paper analyzing issues raised by EU-U.S. commercial data flows and their history, as well as EU-U.K. data flows post-Brexit. They said cross-border data transfers “underpin the modern, digital economy, and their preservation is of vital importance to business,” adding the coming months “will be fascinating, and perhaps decisive,” calling the outcome of the “Schrems II” case “key.”
