An Uber driver in Arizona recorded players from the Ottawa Senators hockey team over the course of their ride, the Ottawa Citizen reports. The video featured players speaking critically of both their team and head coach. Arizona law states as long as one person present in the video offers their consent, any recordings would be legal, which, in this case, was the Uber driver. Uber said in a statement, however, the video violated the company’s policy. The Toronto Star reports on concerns raised by Canadian privacy professionals after the video was released.
