The Hill reports that four top cybersecurity officials have announced their departure from the Trump administration in recent weeks. While there has always been a challenge in recruiting top talent away from the private sector, long-term consequences are possible from the turnover, the report states, adding, the “longer these positions remain unfilled, the tougher it will be to enact policy changes, including those laid out in President Trump’s executive order on strengthening cybersecurity signed in May.”
