An article for Wired interviewed Tristan Harris, former product manager at Google who began speaking on the tech industry’s “hijacking of the human mind,” to hear how he is now rejoining the conversation with a new phrase on how tech is impacting people’s lives: “human downgrading.” Harris said, “It’s not like I want to get up and think about words.” He added, “I want to get up and actually see these problems go away.
