Fusion reports on “the face of the new, privacy-conscious Facebook,” Yul Kwon, a Yale Law graduate who heads the team responsible for ensuring every new product, feature, proposed study and code change gets scrutinized for privacy problems. Facebook employees refer to his team as the XFN team because of its cross-functionality, incorporating input from everyone from the PR team to lawyers to security before the product reaches users. “We refer to ourselves as the privacy sherpas,” Kwon said. Fun fact: Kwon was also the winner of the 13^th season of Survivor.
