- The Virginia House of Delegates voted 89-9 to pass House Bill 2307, the Consumer Data Protection Act, and advance it for Senate consideration. The Virginia Senate Committee on General Laws and Technology will now hold a hearing on the proposed legislation after advancing its own privacy bill, Senate Bill 1392, to a hearing before the Senate Finance Committee.
