Kerry discussed the "lengthy journey to this threshold" and how members of U.S. Congress can "finish the job" on legislation.
- The Washington Post Editorial Board writes its hopes for passage of the draft bill, saying it "isn’t perfect, but it’s better than good, and it deserves the backing of today’s holdouts."
- The Interactive Advertising Bureau offered its position on the current discussion draft. IAB Executive Vice President for Public Policy Lartease Tiffith said the organization and its members "support many of (the draft's) provisions" and are "eager to help improve the bill."
