  • The National Cyber Security Centre recommends U.K. organizations take action to improve their cyber resilience amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. While the NCSC said it is not aware of current threats to organizations, it urged them to follow its guidance which included steps to take to reduce cyber risks.
  • Data from Apptopia shows Ukrainian citizens are downloading encrypted communication applications, offline maps, streaming radio apps and more to keep up with news and information, TechCrunch reports.
  • Facebook started a Special Operations Center to monitor posts coming out of Ukraine, The Hill reports. Facebook Head of Security Nathaniel Gleicher said in a tweet that the Special Operations Center could respond in “real time” and is staffed by native speakers. The company will also allow users to lock their profiles for an additional security feature.
  • An anonymous Ukrainian cybersecurity researcher is believed to have infiltrated a Russian ransomware group and disclosed their internal chat logs, The Verge reports
