While speaking to a group of law students recently, Align Technology Privacy Counsel K Royal, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, was asked what makes a good privacy officer. So she went to work. After searching related top 10 lists for compliance officers, salespeople, CEOs and managers, Royal compiled this list of 10 skills necessary to becoming a good privacy officer for Privacy Perspectives.
