The Joint Action Towards the European Health Data Space is working to resolve lingering barriers for cross-border use of health data for the European Health Data Space, Euractiv reports. The EHDS proposal presented to the European Commission last week featured the primary and secondary uses of health data, such as research. TEHDAS has identified 11 existing barriers for cross-border secondary health data use, including legal hurdles, infrastructure and lack of interoperability between data.
