Startup firm Integris has secured an additional $1.5 million, GeekWire reports. The company's “privacy intelligence solution” combines machine learning, natural language processing and data mining with other processes to help companies automate how they manage customer data. As companies search for solutions ahead of EU General Data Protection Regulation implementation, Integris CEO and Co-Founder Kristina Bergman said, “It has really heated up the data privacy market and created a lot of urgency among companies to ensure they are taking the right steps to be compliant in advance of the deadline.”
