Technology companies made changes to their privacy rules aimed at young users to ensure their compliance with the U.K. Age Appropriate Design Code, Axios reports. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Snap have all recently taken measures aimed at enhancing children's privacy over the past month to prepare for enforcement of the code, which begins in September. Meanwhile, Reuters reports TikTok will also roll out privacy controls targeted toward teenage users in the coming months.
