An employee from T-Mobile’s Czech subsidiary has been arrested after attempting to sell the data of 1.5 million customers, Cellular News reports. The employee, believed to have worked for the company’s IT department, downloaded the data and tried to sell it to a buyer, who is a T-Mobile business partner. The business partner immediately informed T-Mobile of the breach. T-Mobile does not know how much information the employee accessed. The data breach is believed to be the largest in the history of the Czech Republic.
