- T-Mobile said an investigation into a recent data breach found hackers accessed personal information of 53 million customers, Reuters reports. The wireless carrier initially confirmed 47.8 million former, prospective and existing customers were impacted, but found the data of an additional 5.3 million customers was compromised.
- Data stored in Microsoft’s Power Apps portal mistakenly exposed 38 million records online, affecting companies including American Airlines and Ford, Wired reports. Compromised data includes COVID-19 contact-tracing information, job application portals and sensitive information from addresses to Social Security numbers.
